It\’s all about the free publicity. Think about it. How many of you would love to advertise on the Nation/Standard but find the costs prohibitive? With Kikulacho, it\’s all free. A word of caution though: they will NOT publish OBVIOUS adverts (which they consider to be spam). No problem. In a world where obstructive marketing is losing it\’s power, smart marketers do their marketing smartly.
For example, suppose I was an accountant based in Nairobi and looking for clients - nothing big: small businesses, sole entreprenurs, busy people etc. What if I could somehow prove that I know my stuff and that I am a smarter and better accountant than your current accountant? Would that win me new clients?
I bet. So how do you go about doing this? With Kikulacho it\’s easy. I can show you that I know my accounting very easily using Kikulacho, you see. I\’d become a regular contributer to Kikulach and make sure that I submit insightful, helpful articles exploring accounting in Kenya. At the end of each article, of course, I would not fail to mention that I am a practicing accountant and give my contact details. This strikes me as nearly perfect marketing: I get to tell you about my expertise for free. If the printed version of Kikulacho attracts a reasonable number of readers….free advertising.
Of course this is not limited to just accountants but all other professionals. Its not even limited to just professionals but every other person seeking to advertise their goods/services.
Something that may interest you: If you have a website, you probably know that many Kenyans don\’t know about your site even if they dohave access to the internet. Can you use Kikulacho to reach them?
Be smart and you can use Kikulacho to make money.
